Paintings and Canvas Stretching.

Paintings on canvas can be stretched onto an expandable tongue and groove wooden frame provided there is sufficent material to physically pull and stretch the canvas. Ideally about two inches of extra canvas around the painting is required.

We also use a deep 32mm tulip moulding for stretching, which many customers perfer, however this frame cannot expand to tighten the tension of the canvas, should it be necessary. This wood is very strong and straight, with little grain.
